ResponseVision® Feature Summary

The ResponseVision® software solution was designed by and for emergency management and disaster response/relief professionals. Several of our Consultants were employed by FEMA when the all-hazards approach to emergency situations was designed and established. By applying information technology to this approach, we have a software suite that meets the current and future consequence management, resource tracking, and emergency response logistics needs of organizations across the world, and helps them to improve their overall preparedness for, and response to, natural and man-made emergency incidents.

Emergency Visions offers a complete, end-to-end Consequence Management and Emergency Response Logistics software solution called “ResponseVision®”, comprised of multiple software modules:

• Assessment Management (a toolset to conduct the assessments required by the DHS “THIRA” mandate: Hazard Vulnerability/ Threat, Critical Infrastructure/Key Facility, Capacity/Readiness, and Disaster Needs Assessment, supported by graphical management and analysis functions)
• Resource Management (a NIMS-compliant database of the physical resources available for emergency response/relief efforts, including graphical resource tracking, support for facilities/locations, and robust team configuration and coordination)
• Personnel Management (a full personnel verification system to catalogue, track, and credential emergency response/relief personnel, with support for badging)
• Procurement/Purchasing Management (a complete order fulfillment and management system, with requisitioning, purchase order, and RFP/RFQ functions as well as a grant management)
• Transportation/Shipping Management (a robust, multi-modal transportation and shipping system with carrier management functions, geo-tracking, and full supply chain coordination)
• Inventory/Warehouse Management (a fully-featured system for the management of items in a closed or open area/yard warehouse, with barcode and RFID device support, full receiving and shipping functions, and menu-driven prompts for volunteer workers. Also includes a portable warehousing system for in the field inventory management/”logistics in a box”)
• Distribution Management (a mobile device-based system for “last mile track-and trace” of items delivered at a point of distribution, including full audit and donor accountability functions)
• Vehicle Management (a robust system to catalogue, actively track, and coordinate vehicles, including full fleet management functions. Also includes a vehicle dispatch module to foster driver assignment and trip coordination)
• Operations/Incident Management (a geo-spatial mapping and mission tasking/coordination system for real-time incident response including command and coordination functions of response participants and equipment. Web-based event and incident management functions designed for the workflows associated with each emergency support function. Full, graphical, situational awareness with embedded simulation/drill exercise functions)
• Advanced Learning & Exercise System (a complete, graphical, learning management system to support both online and SME/instructor-led training courses, including an automated simulation/drill exercise system and a robust “serious game” module to facilitate emergency response computer-based learning)
• Volunteer Portal/Network (an easy-to-use web portal/online community to facilitate the cataloguing and credentialing of emergency response/relief Volunteers. Links to online training courses, powerful individual and team scheduling functions, and program matching to posted volunteer opportunities is included)
• Supplier Portal/Network (an easy-to-use web portal/online community to facilitate the cataloguing and management of organizations serving as suppliers to emergency management and humanitarian aid agencies, including online price lists, product and service management functions, gift in kind management, transportation/shipping options, and program matching to posted equipment and supply needs)
